Wenge Knife scales

Colour/Appearance: Heartwood is medium brown, sometimes with a reddish or yellowish hue, with nearly black streaks. Upon application of a wood finish (particularly an oil finish) the wood can become nearly black Each pair of scales measure 35x130x10mm (all sizes are within a tolerance of a few mill) As a Knife maker myself i have used loads of different woods and i can now bring you some of the best woods i have used in the past As i have several of each of the woods i sell i can not guarantee you will get the one in the Photo I have wiped 1 pair of scales with linseed oil so you can see what it may look like when finished
